This past week's meal prepping has been good, we stuck to our food plans EXCEPT for Friday. But that was an exception because it was my last day at my new job and they don't play around with potlucks. BUT i kept myself under control, I had one plate of food and one type of desserts out of the 5 desserts provided! Luckily, I was pretty full midway into my plate and I could barely finish the whole thing!!
During the week I was craving something sweet after dinner and I was really in the mood to bake! I was on Instagram (@_aysiaboo) and one of the girl's that I follow (@bryykayyy) is trying out the Keto Diet! She made these yummy "Keto" Chocolate Chip Cookies! I had to try them out so she sent me the link to the recipe!
Coconut Oil Spray
1/4 C. Salted Butter, softened
1/4 C. Stevia Powder
1 Large Egg
1/2 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
1 C. Almond Flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/3 C. sugar free choco-chips (I used dark choco chips)
6. Spoon in 1 ½ tablespoons of cookie dough into each muffin pan slot and repeat with the remaining of dough, creating 6 cookies.
7. Bake cookies in oven for 18 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool in muffin tray for 10 minutes before serving
It. Was. Yummy!
The texture is similar to a muffin, soft and chewy. I want to try making it on a cookie sheet instead but I was just following the recipe for this one. The after taste was pretty rich but it could because I used Dark Chocolate Chips instead of sugar free chips. This is perfect for a snack after dinner because if you're trying not to eat a lot of carbs before going to sleep, this won't leave you feeling guilty.

This month is coming to an end and I can't believe I've been meal prepping this whole month! For February my next goal is to ...workout!
This year I WILL lose weight. That's what I tell myself every year and then the next day I totally forget that I created that goal (whoops!)
But, in all seriousness I think it is QUITE possible to start living a healthier life. It could be because I live on my own now so I make my own food or the fact that my friend's wedding is 7 months away and I want to feel confident in my bridesmaid outfit. Whatever the reasons may be, I have started meal prepping!
Now, honestly I'm not professional in "meal prepping" it's only week two for me. I'm learning as I go. But I will explain how I prepared myself:
This is the month that is all about experimenting and portioning my food. I'm not totally sure of the portion sizes I'm suppose to eat but luckily I had a friend who provided a chart for me on foods that I could eat and how much per item I could eat in a day. My whole thing was that I didn't want to eat "rabbit food" just straight greens so I researched...a lot! I search all websites on recipes I could create at home. Here is one of the links I've been using recently: theeverygirl.com/20-healthy-dinners-you-can-meal-prep-on-sunday/
THE MEAL LIST: So once I wrote down breakfast, lunch, and dinner ideas that I could possibly make at home I discussed with my boyfriend what he liked out of them all. Surprisingly, he like majority of them except Cream of Wheat. So then I separated each item per week for the whole month of January and wrote down a shopping list for the first two weeks.
SHOPPING: When I went shopping I was really nervous on the total price for everything because eating healthier means less greens in the wallet. But that wasn't the case at all. I paid the same amount I would if I bought normal grocery items, YES!
PREPPIN' THE MEALS: So I appointed Sunday nights to be our 'Meal Prep' night for the week. Luckily I bought two boxes worth of containers during Black Friday sales. I didn't need it at the time...but I'm glad I did buy them! I cooked breakfast first and lunch. I kept dinner to cook the days of because I was on vacation for the week so I was able to prep before the boyfriend came home from work.
Breakfast - Oatmeal Muffins
Lunch: Roasted Chicken w/ Zucchinis and Roasted Grape Tomatoes
Dinner: Salmon w/ Spinach Salad.
The first day was ROUGH!! We both were STARVING and I had major headaches. I think our bodies were in shock because we lessened our calorie intake so our bodies must have been like WTF?! The rest of the week we had slight headaches but we drank lots and lots of water and had snacks such as Trail Mix and Bananas.
WHAT IS NEXT: Now we are on week 2 and I will share my verdict next week!! But coming into this week I can say I feel very hopeful that we will start loving this soon and we can see some changes hopefully by the end of this month...hopefully. STAY TUNE!
I have sadly abandoned my blog for far too long. I was doing really well with posting, but then I lost motivation or things to even post. I wanted to focus more on creating makeup videos on the quick paced social media platforms. But then here and there I started to miss the feeling of typing on a keyboard and expressing myself via blogging. So I'm here to "dust the spiderwebs" off my website if you will and try to run it up once again. The whole reason I wanted to bring my blog back is because I have started Meal Prepping for the new year and I wanted to somehow keep record or possibly help those who were in the same exact boat as me with beginner Meal Prep steps. But that will be in my post following this one so stay tuneeed! I can't wait for the new dreams, and projects I will be conjuring up!!

It's been a whole month since I've last blogged, which means a whole month living in our new place! It's honestly been the greatest, and I'm very grateful to be given this opportunity to be independent. The first week of June we headed into LA! It was our first trip as a couple and on our own! We usually have the adults with us who do all the planning, and paying, and..basically all of the adult things :). I'm really proud of us for making it out to the mainland on our own, renting a car, an air b&b, and having a busy schedule the entire trip!! I originally went out there for my friend's birthday because she flew down for mines, but then my bf & I decided to make a whole trip of it. When we first started going out we always talked about going to Disneyland, but we were young and broke. Now, we actually saved up for it and I am extremely happy that we did it!! Here are some highlights:
My first stop was OF COURSE ULTA! I went in to get Tarte Shape Tape and as all girls know it did NOT come out of the store with juuuust Tarte Shape Tape! I will be posting an Ulta Haul/First Impression video soon and blog post so be on the lookout for that!!
I meaaan, the main reason why you vacation is to eat, and have an excuse that "you are on vacay." Disneyland had yummy, and expensive food! My 3 wait NO, 4 fav items: 1) clam chowder, 2) fried chimichanga, & 3) churros! & 4) turkey legs!!
We were actually fortunate enough to only wait 10 mins per ride in Disneyland, and plus the luxury of fast passes! The week we went it was grad night for high schoolers so it was fairly empty. We got to ride all the rides, except Guardians of the Galaxy because it just opened and the wait was at least 2 and a half hours!! Disneyland also has this app called "Disneyland" with the castle on it. On the app you can see how long the line is, which ride has a fast pass, and which ones are temporarily closed. That saved sooo much time instead of walking to the site and finding out the wait would take all day. I conquered-ish my fear of roller coaster rides, my eyes were opened-ish... and I put my hands in the air...then put it back down immediately. Although I knew that I opened my eyes the cameras didn't catch that AT ALL. They caught the very unglamorous shots, quite embarrassing!
MEMORIES FOR LIFE
Overall, there was never a dull moment! I got to spend it with family whom I love and loved every minute of it!! I wish it was longer but all good things must come to an end. BUUUT, on the bright side we are heading back in a year to San Jose for more adventures!!
Check out my LA VLOG below!! <3 Have you been to LA?! What is your favorite place to visit!?
Hello Blogger World!
It's been a hot minute since I've posted on this site. Mostly because, I was procrastinating & also because my BF and I have been looking for a place to live & we finally found one!! (wooo to adulting!)
We've been here for a week & I'm extremely in love with our cute little place, and very proud of us for taking the next steps as "adults". It happened really fast, we went to look at the place one day & filled out the application. Then two days later we got approved! I was really excited soo excited that it turned into nausea hehe. But nonetheless we are grateful! It's only been a week in this house but here is what I'm learning so far:
1. Take in all the help that you can get from family and friends. Supporters make this milestone even greater & house warming gifts are always welcomed. Since you just put a down payment on the house and first month's rent taking any and everything from loved ones is great!
2. You will have cooking fever.. well at least my boyfriend and I do. We hardly cooked at the other house partly because his grandma always cooked amazing food (thank you grandma!) but also we ate out. But now that we have our own stove and cooking supplies we loooove cooking! My sister ordered us the Chrissy Teigen cook book, which I'm crazy ready for!
3. Budgeting will be your friend. If you are still in your 20s in an entry level job, budgeting insists on being your best friend. We planned everything out from what foods to purchase, wants vs needs, and supplies we needed to upkeep our house. If you go in blindly you'll end up spending soo much that your receipt is as long as a Fruit Roll Up!
4. Enjoy every moment! Not everyone can experience the feeling of living on their own, partly because renting a house is very expensive! We truly got lucky with this place & we appreciate it so much!!
I will still be blogging about beauty topics, but I believe lifestyle is the general feel of my blog site. I hope you all enjoy.
Do any of you live in your own house, apartment, studio? What was your initial feeling when you first moved in?!
FULL DISCLAIMER: I have never ever been to a Coachella/Festival event at all!

Have you been to Coachella? What were some of your fav looks?!
I created this look a year ago, and I have no idea why I never posted it then. But I loooove it, by far my fav and outgoing look inspired by James Charles via IG.
The colors are from the MUFE Volume 2 Palette. It was hard to pick up with my brush being that it was very compact, so I used my finger at first, then blended it out with my blending brush. It is a super easy look and POPS! I must create more looks like this!
True Match Foundation '6' + Infallible Powder Foundation
Rimmel London Natural Bronzer 'Sun Bronze'
ABH Glow Kit
MUFE Volume 2
NYC Felt Tip Liner
Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipstick 'Beeper' mixed w/ a clear gloss.
Check out the video below!
Have you tried this palette? What are your thoughts?
Skin care routines are always something that I fall out of and then catch up with again. I've been fortunate enough to have really great skin, with rare occasions of minor breakouts. My breakouts usually happen when the weather changes, hormones, or I eat a lot of chocolate (too good to let go!)
Since I wear makeup mostly everyday I have to maintain my skin and make sure that all the makeup and dirt from that day has been completely removed. I can't sleep peacefully if I know I didn't fully remove my makeup. Here are the products I've been using lately:
Neutrogena Makeup Wipes:
Before I shower, I completely remove my makeup with Neutrogena Makeup Wipes. These work wonders! One wipe usually does the job because I don't apply full coverage everyday. It doesn't burn my skin, or damage it. It's takes off 99.5% of my makeup with a smooth swipe. I love that it is affordable and that I can buy in bulk at Sam's Club.
I don't use masks everyday, I only use it on Wednesdays and Sundays. The one's that I've been using lately is my LUSH Cup o' Coffee and my Loreal Charcoal masks. I'm loving my coffee mask to give me a boost in my day and the smell is soo YUMMY!! Charcoal masks are always my go to, they give me a deep clean to remove all dirt and brighten my skin!
This is my current skin care routine, what are the skin products that you love to use? Let me know!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I think, as a kid I was always excited about Valentine's Day because 1) I get to choose cool candies with a theme to pass out to my class. 2) I receive awesome candies from the entire class. 3) My favorite color is red. Now, as an adult I love making baked goods, and creating makeup looks. So here is my cut crease Valentine's Makeup look. This was my first time ever doing a cut crease look. My right eye turned out amaziiiing, and the left eye was a ... start. Definitely at perfect, so practice practice practice!!
Here is the video tutorial:
Maybelline Fit Me
Loreal Infallible Powder
BH Cosmetic Brow Kit 'Dark Brown'
Morphe 35O (dark browns, and highlight)
Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipstick 'Notion' (on the crease)
ABH Original Contour Kit
Inglot Sparkling Dust #3
Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipstick 'Notion'
Loreal Liner & Maybelline Lash Sensational
I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day, whether it's with your significant other or family. Love is everywhere and always!!
